L’Atelier is a workshop created by Fanny Dulin, a French actress experienced in performing for children and with children. After years of experience of touring Tours in Education in French, Fanny
Dulin developped a workshop in order
to give the students the opportunity
to speak French throughout a session of fun and drama.
The aim of this workshop is to show the young students that they can understand and talk French more than they think.
The whole workshop will be in French and will encourage them to use the vocabulary they know and learn some more. The workshop leaders will adapt the games and drama activities to the level of the students.
It is an hour of fun and games!!
First: Physical warm up
It’s all about shaking and waking up the parts of the body naming each part one by one in French.
Quick energy game using words such as gauche, droite, en face…
Secondly: Drama games
Object run, (use of vocabulary like objects, colours and shapes),
Miming and guessing in French.
Thirdly: Drama scene
The leaders will perform a short scene from a play in French written specially for school students. Then they will talk about it with the students and after that by pair they will practice it and perform it in front of the group. At that point the leaders will help them with direction and pronunciation
The workshop leaders are native French. They are experienced in tour in education as they worked with Onatti Theatre. They are also used in directing children.

An hour and a half all in French.
Groups of ten to twenty students.
